Well it's been a while. I have to admit it.... I've been unfaithful to my blog.... because.... of..... ...... Facebook! I have been allured by the desire to share my inner thoughts and unfortunate ramblings with my select friends and so my blog has been neglected but on a positive note, I have collected several ideas of late about which to blog so you can expect some updates before too long. No doubt that news excites you beyond measure huh? ;o) lol
I hope you are (as I am) enjoying the change of seasons and the Fall colors. Of course they come early here compared to most places but I suspect that even way down South things are at least starting to turn. We have some beautiful Fall colors going on here though you would hardly say that all the trees have started to go. However the latest series of rains (heavy rains) may change that. I will try to snap a few pictures and post here or up on Flickr soon so you can see some of the beautiful trees here - that is, assuming I get enough sun light to take a photo lol!
My best to you all, stay happy, hug someone you love, make or listen to some music to apply that much needed balm to your soul and enjoy the change of seasons as we slip from the busy days of Summer into the relaxing beauty filled (snow filled!) days of Winter ahead (my season!).
Talk to you again soon!

About Me
- Jerry
- Born in Memphis, TN many moons ago. Educated at East High School and Christian Brothers University in the mysteries of Electrical Engineering. Married for 36 years this year to the same lovely lady with three beautiful children. Lived in LA, WV, IN, IL and essentially all-over TX (well, at least on business trips). Love my family deeply, feel very blessed by God (more than I deserve) and appreciative of all the friends I have made in this life! My first car was a Chevy II Nova (in upper right of my picture) - one of the first Nova's of this type made. It had a straight 230 cu in six and Torque Drive. Torque Drive meant it had no clutch but you still had to shift it from first to second when starting out (second to third was automatic). Very unique car. I loved it! Now I have a Mustang GT (going on 19 yrs old) given to me by my wonderful wife and it is still a blast. I now have a new daughter - the beautiful lady my son married! So thankful for all my family!

Our Weather Today:
It's been a very wet Spring so far this 2015. However, we have had periods of beautiful skies in between. Currently that trend continues. Oddly enough it's been quite cool compared to the norm so perhaps that means a summer that is not a scorcher. Really, I'm ok with that...

Nice to see you blogging again. Yes, Facebook is a little easier to post "mini" thoughts during the week since often that is all there is time for.
Autumn is always a busy time of year for us... which seems to contradict the weather, which, as you say, seems to beg us to start "slowing down".
Wondering if we will get a bit of snow this year too...we have had a very wet Fall. If not, I will live vicariously through your webcam and photos. : )
Well, I have the web cam running again so I will be happy to share our winter weather with you. I hope you get to enjoy some of your own too - as long as it doesn't cause anyone down there in the South to have problems! :O)
Whoa! You reworked your blog format! I like it! When will we have some new posts?
